AIM’s 18th AGM was held on Wednesday 27th September at Glazier’s Hall, London Bridge. The AGM continues to be an important forum for our members to catch up with what AIM has achieved in the previous 12 months and to network with the AIM Board, Label/Distributor/Affiliate members, Friends of AIM, AIM staff and industry guests.
As usual, a range of talks were hosted across the afternoon. These included a keynote presentation from Helen Smith, IMPALA Executive Chair, who presented a view from Brussels, on Copyright Reform and Brexit. Our special guests for the ‘In Conversation with…’ interview included Joe Mount (Metronomy) and Shingai (Noisettes). This year’s Annual Report was an opportunity to celebrate all that AIM has achieved on behalf of the independent sector during Paul Pacifico’s first year as AIM CEO, and to look towards AIM’s future initiatives.
AIM’s end of year accounts are available here.
