AIM are recruiting! 2018 is set to be a big year for AIM and there has never been a better time to join the team. We’re looking for both a Music Business Intern and Events Manager.

Role: Music Business Intern (paid)

Responsible to: Head of Legal and Business Affairs

This is an exciting opportunity to join a small, dedicated and sociable team as the Music Business Intern, assisting the Head of Legal & Business Affairs and supporting the rest of the AIM team in all activities, with a specific focus on and interest in gaining a real knowledge of the music market and its workings, supporting legal, finance and member events.

The successful candidate will have a degree or equivalent qualification and/or background in music business with a keen interest and strength in law. You will have a general understanding of copyright and company law, the thriving UK independent music sector and developments in technology and music consumption.

Role: Events Manager

Responsible to: CEO

Events Manager Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to join a small, busy and sociable team at AIM as an Events Manager, joining our existing events management team. The successful candidate would join our existing Events Manager, working together to initiate, plan and deliver AIM’s portfolio of events. The Events team works closely with the CEO and the AIM Membership Manager and is assisted by the rest of the AIM team.

AIM’s events team is active throughout the year and runs a range of events, from our annual well-respected and much-loved awards show ‘The AIM Awards’, through to conferences including Indie-Con and Music Connected, networking events such as the AIM Socials and training events under the AIM Academy brand. Plus, AIM’s inclusion in national and international music industry events such as The Great Escape and SXSW.
