The AIM social returns with Anjunabeats vs Southern Fried Records

AIM is excited to announce the return of the AIM Social, the regular gathering for the independent music community. Taking place at the Strongroom Bar in Shoreditch, March’s AIM Social will see Anjunabeats and Southern Fried Records go head to head on the decks.

Get a unique insight into the music that has inspired and shaped these two exciting independent labels, while enjoying some drinks with AIM members and the independent music community.

440-big-march-social-flyerAnjunabeats is the label owned and A&R’d by Above & Beyond – Jono Grant, Tony McGuinness and Paavo Siljamäki. Starting its journey back in 2000 as an outlet for Above & Beyond’s own productions, the label soon grew to encompass an ever-growing family of global talent. Over 14 years, Anjunabeats has helped kickstart the careers of Mat Zo, Arty, Andrew Bayer, Boom Jinx, Super 8 & Tab, Oliver Smith, Jaytech, ilan Bluestone and many more.

Southern Fried Records is a London-based independent electronic dance music record label founded and owned by Norman Cook, better known by his stage name, Fatboy Slim. Over the past 21 years they’ve released records from Armand Van Helden, The 2 Bears, Elton John, Maribou State, The Black Ghosts, Crookers and many more. Southern Fried’s very own creative electronic duo Fluida will be hitting the decks, a set not to be missed!

It’s a great night of camaraderie, networking and good music for the independent sector.
