Are you using the AIM/BBC Agreement to unlock all the incredible performances your artists have recorded for the BBC?
You should be!
Come and learn about this exclusive deal that enables AIM members to release gems from the BBC archive and monetise them around the world.
Interchange Triangle, Camden, London.
Please note, this is a free workshop open exclusively to AIM members.
The workshop will give the opportunity for record label staff and self-releasing artists to get a real understanding of the agreement as well as how best to use it.
The workshop will cover:
- BBC’s Simon Gurney will explain how to use the agreements to relicense BBC recorded performances (‘Live at the BBC’, ‘BBC Introducing’ etc.) back from the BBC for subsequent release and exploitation
- What types of recorded performances are restricted from relicensing
- Time frames in which recordings can be released
- Case studies from AIM members that have used the agreement
The event will give you plenty of opportunity to ask questions and will conclude with networking drinks at the venue.
Please RSVP to firstname.lastname@example.org with the name and company of the attendee. Strictly 2 attendees per label. This event is NOT open to Friends of AIM.
Attendees will be selected on a first come first served basis. Deadline for RSVPs is Friday 28th April.
