Bandcamp is a thriving, global music community where thousands of labels including Ninja Tune, Sub Pop, Brownswood and Hyperdub sell music and merch directly to fans, and to attract new fans to their catalogs. Artists and labels on Bandcamp have earned over $260million since the site launched in 2008 and over $6.6million in the past month. Join Aly Gillani, Bandcamp’s UK Label Representative, for a short workshop on how to get started on Bandcamp. If you’re new to Bandcamp or want a refresher on some of our features, please join us!
Over drinks and light snacks we’ll cover:
- Setting up a label account and getting started – all in less than 10 minutes.
- How to sell merch on Bandcamp
- How to get your music featured on the Bandcamp Daily / Weekly
- Getting the most out of the brand-new Bandcamp app
Hands-on session: After the introductory talk we’ll host an informal session with Alex Hindley, Bandcamp’s lead label account engineer, where you can bring your questions or laptops to sort through anything on your own account, whether it’s new or you’ve had it for a while.
