For this event, they have invited Geoff Meall and Professor Jonathan Shalit OBE to talk on their music industry background and experience as well as some other highly regarded topics.

Geoff Meall (Managing Director at United Talent Agency)

Geoff Meall Head of UK Music UTA London. Geoff joined The Agency Group in 1992 which was acquired by United Talent Agency in August 2015.

As well as being an agent representing such bands as  diverse as Muse, Paramore, Dexys and Super Furry Animals Geoff is also in charge of the UK team of Agents at UTA

Cycles, watches football, avoids meetings in March and Autumn.

Professor Jonathan Shalit OBE (Chairman at ROAR Group)

Professor Jonathan Shalit OBE is Chairman of the ROAR Group, the UK’s preeminent independent talent management company.

Jonathan’s artists acts have won 16 MOBO Awards and sold millions of CDs and Albums. His roster currently and over the years includes WSTRN, Big Brovaz, Katherine Jenkins OBE, Louisa Johnson, Rebecca Ferguson, N-Dubz, Tulisa, Emma Bunton, Mel B, Pixie Lott and Jamelia. He worked with Sir George ‘Beatles’ Martin to record Elton John, Sting, Cher, Carly Simon, Lisa Stansfield,  Elvis Costello, John Bon Jovi, Celine Dion and Phil Collins to name but a few.

Jonathan was awarded an OBE in 2014 for services to the entertainment industry and charity. Since 2012 he has been an  Honorary Professors at the Henley Business School and Reading University, an accolade awarded in recognition of his contribution to the arts and Chairmanship of the MOBO Charity Trust.
