British at Midem logo

As one of the key events in the global music industry calendar midem offers an unrivalled opportunity for British music companies to build on our reputation for innovation and creativity, and to present the fruits of this creativity to potential partners in markets worldwide.
For the tenth year running AIM, BPI, MPA, PPL, PRS for Music and UK Trade & Investment have joined forces to host the British Music at midem stand and will be on hand to assist scores of UK music companies.

Five reasons to register with the British Music stand:

  1. Personal service. Our team is on hand to help you use all the stand facilities and to navigate midem 2013.
  2. Network of industry contacts. By registering with the stand your company profile, primary activity and contact details will be listed in the British Music Guide.
  3. Never miss a beat.  Having a meeting with someone you haven't met before? We have photographs of all our delegates so whey your contacts arrive we can make sure they know who to look for.  Or if they need to leave you a message, each company has a mailbox.
  4. Home from home.  Need to sit and talk to your new contacts or print documents?  The stand has informal meeting spaces and business centre facilities exclusively for our delegates.
  5. Think big.  Whether you are there on your own or with your whole team, being on the British Music stand puts you at the heart of midem.

The stand offers a valuable meeting point where you can make contacts, negotiate deals and agree partnerships. Joining the British Music at midem stand also means you’ll have plenty of industry trade organisations on hand to assist you.

For the same price as a midem registration when you register via the British stand you will be eligible for a number of indispensable services including access to our business facilities (including free wi-fi, printer, photocopier, UK sockets), company mailbox and storage. Each company has their company profile and contact details included in the British Music at midem brochure.

Join us on the British Music at midem stand and be part of one of midem’s most popular stands.

MEET THE FRENCH – B2B SPEED MEETING SESSION

5.00-6.00pm Sunday 27th January 2013 - Networking Village (Level 1)

BE

AIM and BureauExport are hosting a B2B speed meeting session for UK and French companies to get connected.

The concept is easy, a short time slot to get your point across without wasting time and the opportunity to make 10 new contacts – all for the investment of an hour – what could be easier!

A fast way for you to make new contacts and form strong business relationships focusing on licensing and distribution deals.  Each pair of delegates has a combined 5 minutes (ie 2.5 mins each) to promote their business and exchange information with the person sitting opposite them, before moving along to the next delegate. You need to come prepared with your music, promotional material and business cards. Think “elevator pitch” - you only have 5 total minutes per meeting, so there is no time for detail! Introduce yourself, your company and your artists(s)/services – with just the key facts. If you’d like to talk to any of the delegates further, agree to have a more in-depth chat after the session.

Delegates will be required to supply contact information and some basic information about their company, which will be circulated by email before the session.

Places are limited so will only be allocated to those who pre-register and confirm their booking before midem (registration form can be downloaded from the bottom of this page). Application Deadline Friday 11th January 2013
