SXSW Conferences and Festivals offers the unique convergence of original music, independent films, and emerging technologies. Fostering creative and professional growth alike, SXSW is the premier destination for discovery with 20,000 music delegates and 2,370+ bands showcasing from 58 countries on 100+ stages.

By day, conference registrants do business in the SXSW Trade Show in the Austin Convention Centre  and partake of a full agenda of informative, provocative panel discussions featuring hundreds of speakers of international stature. In 2014 SXSW Interactive attracted 30,600+ delegates and SXSW Film 16,300+ delegates thus becoming similarly important events for the international film and interactive sectors. The British music industry participates in SXSW Music to network, to raise the profile of the organisations they represent with influential people in the US and to use SXSW to publicise and market their work.

The British Music Embassy, with its own dedicated music venue at Latitude 30 on San Jacinto Blvd, just of 6th St, is the hub of all British music activity at SXSW.  Supported by AIM, UKTI and other industry organisations, 50+ of the best up and coming UK talent will be showcasing at the BME. Latitude 30 effectively becomes a little piece of the UK, our Embassy and HQ for the 'live/showcase side of British Music in Austin', for the duration of the event and will be a place for promoting the British contingent.

Are you wanting to make new connections, discuss hot topics with other international delegates or meet with any of the British Music Embassy partners (AIM, Creative Scotland, Generator Northern Ireland, PRS for Music, PRS Foundation, UK Trade & Investment and The Welsh Music Foundation) then the following events may be of interest to you.

Information about the B2B Networking events being held at the BME will be posted as soon as available.
