SXSW Conferences and Festivals offers the unique convergence of original music, independent films, and emerging technologies. Fostering creative and professional growth alike, SXSW is the premier destination for discovery with 20,000 music delegates and 2,370+ bands showcasing from 58 countries on 100+ stages.

By day, conference registrants do business in the SXSW Trade Show in the Austin Convention Centre  and partake of a full agenda of informative, provocative panel discussions featuring hundreds of speakers of international stature. In 2014 SXSW Interactive attracted 30,600+ delegates and SXSW Film 16,300+ delegates thus becoming similarly important events for the international film and interactive sectors. The British music industry participates in SXSW Music to network, to raise the profile of the organisations they represent with influential people in the US and to use SXSW to publicise and market their work.


AIM members can access the price from the previous registration period by registering online - please log into the members area for the code.

If you have registered for SXSW in previous years you can use your existing username and password, if not you need to create a new account on the SXSW website.

When you register online you will be prompted for the discount code during the checkout process.  The discount code is not transferrable and SXSW will be veryifying all registrations made with this code.

SXSW will not issue refunds or credits due to failure to redeem a discount coupon during the registration process so please read the instructions carefully before making your purchase.

Showcases At The British Music Embassy

The British Music Embassy, with its own dedicated music venue at Latitude 30 on San Jacinto Blvd, just of 6th St, is the hub of all British music activity at SXSW.  Supported by AIM, UKTI and other industry organisations, 50+ of the best up and coming UK talent will be showcasing at the BME. Latitude 30 effectively becomes a little piece of the UK, our Embassy and HQ for the 'live/showcase side of British Music in Austin', for the duration of the event and will be a place for promoting the British contingent.  For full details of the schedule of showcases and to rsvp to the daytime shows visit

These two hours give you the chance to meet and put questions to the British Music Embassy Partners including representatives from AIM, BBC Introducing, Generator Northern Ireland, PPL, PRS for Music, PRS Foundation, Independent Venue Week and UKTI who will be in attendance to give you information on their services and how they may be able help you develop your business internationally.
