With the AIM Awards fast approaching, AIM has announced that this year’s charity partner at the awards will once again be Help Musicians UK.
Help Musicians UK is the leading independent music charity for musicians. For 95 years, they have helped thousands of musicians establish themselves in the music industry, get through a serious crisis, cope with long term difficulties and enjoy retirement. As well as providing advice and guidance, they give financial and emotional support too.
Lara Baker, AIM’s Marketing and Events Director, said: “Help Musicians UK’s MAD (Music and Depression) campaign and commitment to mental health within the music industry makes them a natural fit as the awards’ charity partner. Indie labels have a well deserved reputation for caring about their artists, so we are delighted to be raising money for the important work of Help Musicians UK at the AIM Awards on 6th September.”
