We commission content from independent producers for all our channels, platforms and services. We champion new music in all our productions.
CI delivers digital content on behalf of independent labels and distributors to music services such as Spotify, iTunes/Apple, Amazon, Google/YouTube and many more.CI was founded in 2002 to fill a growing need in the music industry. The independent sector was finding it difficult to deal with the variety and complexity of digital music delivery in those early days of downloading. Our co-founders, Paul Sanders and Philip Crewdson, saw that the only way the indies would be able to access the digital market would be to pool their resources to build and maintain a technical delivery platform. This grew into CI.Over the years since, we have grown organically so that we now hold almost 2.5 million tracks on behalf of 150 clients, who collectively represent around 8000 record labels. We made 20 million track deliveries in 2015, and we manage this by having great systems – almost entirely automated so that our team can spend their time helping our clients to get the most out of their relationship with CI, working out the best way for each client to use the access to market that we enable.
ClicknClear are the first and only music licensing platform catering for sports mixes. We were founded to protect music producers and sports teams from legal action when using music in a sport performance and ensuring an easy to use solution was in place that meant artists would be rightly paid for their intellectual property. Many sports around the world do not understand the rights they require and so are infringing copyright which puts them at risk of legal action. ClicknClear work directly with the music industry to provide music which can be licensed instantly covering all the rights necessary for each sport.
