Types of Membership
Full Member
If you are running or starting a label, this is the membership for you, offering our complete range of services.
The AIM joining fee is £149+VAT. There is a 50% discount on this for members of Welsh Music Foundation (WMF), Music Publishers Association (MPA), Musicians Union (MU), British Association of Songwriters, Composers and Authors (BASCA), Music Producers Guild (MPG) and Armstrong Learning (our affiliates).
There is an annual renewal fee (currently £126+VAT), payable each January from the year after the one in which you join.
Members also pay an annual membership subscription of 10% of their PPL income (you should join Phonographic Performance Limited so that you can collect your income from the broadcast of your recordings, and we can collect this subscription).

Distribution Company Member
Distributors pay an annual membership subscription of £750+VAT.

Affiliate Member
Regional music bodies, universities and other industry organisations can join as an affiliate member. Organisations that join as an Affiliate can offer their members discounts on joining AIM and attending AIM's events. Our existing affiliates include Welsh Music Foundation (WMF), Music Publishers Association (MPA), British Association of Songwriters, Composers and Authors (BASCA), Music Producers Guild (MPG), Musicians Union (MU) and Armstrong Learning.

Friend of AIM (Associate Member)
For companies providing services and products to the music industry we offer a single point of access to over 800 record labels. Use it not only to communicate with, but also be part of, this community. The scheme facilitates trade between suppliers of all types of services and AIM members; alternatively some companies may simply want to sponsor this sector.
Friends of AIM pay £1,050 + VAT p.a.
