VOTING FOR INAUGURAL AIM INDEPENDENT MUSIC AWARDS NOW OPEN!

 

The inaugural AIM Independent Music Awards, taking place on Thursday 10th November at Floridita in London, will recognise and celebrate the artists, labels, companies and individuals at the heart of the thriving independent music sector.

Music fans are invited to vote now for three of the awards to be bestowed on the evening: Best Independent Festival, Best Live Act and an Indie Champion. In the week since voting launched, an astounding 10,000 votes have already been placed.

Indie Champion

The Indie Champion award is an award for someone who demonstrates unwavering support for the independent community. AIM (Association of Independent Music) members were invited to nominate individuals and the following shortlist are nominees who have all tirelessly supported the sector, going above and beyond to spread, promote and champion independent music.

• Nathan Clark (Brudenell Social Club)

• Richard Thane (The Line of Best Fit)

• Tom Robinson (6 Music)

• Tony McDonagh (Manilla PR)
