Winners announced for AIM Independent Music Awards 2011!

Radio 1's Huw Stephens and 6 Music's Steve Lamacq announced the winners for the first AIM Independent Music Awards at Floridita in Soho during a stunning awards ceremony that featured performances from folk-punk favourite Frank Turner, Scottish songwriter James Yorkston and beatboxer Beardyman.

13 trophies were handed out to an incredible array of artists, entrepreneurs, marketeers and labels, marking a stellar start to the AIM awards and honouring what has been a fantastic year for the independent music sector.
