Voting Opens for Best Live Act at the 2013 AIM Independent Music Awards!


Best Live Act:

Voting opens today for the Best Live Act category at this year’s AIM Independent Music Awards.

Music fans can vote for the Best Live Act from a list of 37 entrants, all signed to independent labels. The Best Live Act category is supported by music magazine and website The Fly, and music fans can vote for their favourite until 15th July via their website:

The bands and artists battling it out for Best Live Act include:

All Time Low, Beach House, Bellowhead, Bonobo, The Boxer Rebellion, Brother & Bones, Cold Specks, Daughter, Deerhunter, Dutch Uncles, Enter Shikari, FIDLAR, Fink, The Flaming Lips, Francois and the Atlas Mountains, Funeral For a Friend, The Heavy, The Jim Jones Revue, John Grant, Johnny Marr, Liars, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Mala, The National, Neon Neon, Netsky Live, Palma Violets, Phosphorescent, Public Service Broadcasting, SBTRKT, Sigur Ros, Suede, Theme Park, Tift Merritt, The xx, Vampire Weekend and Yeasayer.

Previous winners were The Prodigy (2012) and Frank Turner (2011).

The vote closes on 15th July, with final nominees announced in August.  Winners will be revealed at the AIM Awards ceremony in London on 3rd September 2013.
