17/12/2008 Tickets Now Available for AIM's 'Synchronisation Licensing to TV, Adverts, Film and Video Games' Event
Tickets are now available for the next AIM Synchronisation Licensing to TV, Adverts, Film and Video Games event. The evening will comprise of discussions amongst a top panel of experts, covering the following areas:
* The process involved in placing a track
* What makes a track 'synchable'?
* What can labels do to improve their chance of achieving synch licences for their artists?
* How is the synch licensing business changing?
Speakers already confirmed include:
*Ben Bleet (Director, Howling Monkey - provide music for Saatchi and Saatchi adverts)
*Jacquie Perryman (formerly handled music for FOX TV in the states, now consulting in the UK)
*Alex Lavery (from synch agency Pitch & Synch, and formerly handled synch licensing for a top independent label)
*Peter Bradbury (Rights Negotiation Manager, BBC)
*David Buttle (from independent label Mr Bongo, who have had significant synch licensing success)
*Lol Hammond (of Vertigo Films - music supervisors for a number of top British films)
* Simon Goffe (Brownswood Recordings / Yes Music)
All attending labels will be asked to submit 1 track that will be considered for a shortlist of 6 that will be discussed on the evening in terms of their synch suitability, details will be provided following booking confirmations.
The evening will conclude with networking drinks - giving all labels the chance to meet the panel and other synchronisation specialists.

COST: £10 (inc VAT and drinks) for members/Friends of AIM, £30 (inc VAT and drinks) for non members. 20% off full non-members ticket price for members of affiliates.
